I’ll be the first to admit that I LOVE what a workout does for me, body and mind. And I’d be the first to admit that it doesn’t always come easy. I start out absolutely dreading the hour in front of me. I bitch and moan and groan and do an incredibly punishing workout and end up feeling 100% better after it’s done. Working out is my natural antidepressant.  Work everyday to make your exercise routine payoff- physically, mentally, and in terms of loving life.

Circuit training is a great way to mix things up in your workouts. From circuit training with brutal cardio like crazy things on a motorized treadmill to army-style burpees that leave you begging for breath. The good thing about circuit training or HIIT training is that you’re not doing that one exercise for very long before moving onto the next. This keeps things fresh. 

THE MORE YOU SWEAT, THE BETTER! 
I love pilates, yoga, and stretching. It’s all i used to do. But hard core workouts have really made a big difference in my life. I have a lot of internal energy  and intense exercise helps me channel that. I was never the type of girl that would enjoy being drenched in sweat, but I am now. I love the feeling of accomplishment i get after a tough workout, one rep that I wasn’t able to do the day before, One more set I pushed myself through. WHAT TIME DO YOU EXERCISE? 
I was always a night time exerciser until recently. I find that if i wake up, drink a shake, exercise and get it done in the morning I have a better day with a lot more energy. The only kicker- I don’t naturally get up super early. It takes some time to get used to but I do find I have a more productive day if I workout in the morning. 

Eat the foods that right for your body. 
Sometimes I’m a meat and potatoes eater but most of the time I find myself eating meat-free. I don’t know why I eat this way– my body just sometimes screams at me to stay away from meat. LOL! This isn’t always a good thing though. I get tired, cranky, and have NO ENERGY when I’m lacking the protein in my diet. That’s where Crave Whey Protein comes into play! SMART FACT: Did you know that we currently work with 4 different manufacturers; 3 different chemists; and about 6 different sales reps in producing our capsules? YES!!

We do this for good reason. I have one guy on the lookout for new and upcoming ingredients and mixtures for various things, I have another guy researching “old school supplements” that were changed and why they were changed, I have another guy researching molecule combustion in the human body and why our ingredients work the way they do in our bodies, and what we can do to make a better supplement for our consumers.
Then there’s little ole me who takes a HUGE interest in the stuff that makes us do what we do. I blame this on my nursing school! For some reason I took a huge interest in researching meds and what they do to our bodies in what quantities, what side effects occur and why they occur and what other ingredients or chemical or herbs are better than the other.
Some people probably look at me like I’m a “nerd” but the fact of the matter is, I just like to learn new things! I can’t explain why, I’ve been this way my whole life. Could explain my multiple degrees and continuing education credits and certificates. (And my horrible student loan debt!) I love learning about new herbs, new all natural things that can help not only our weight but our overall health.
So that in itself makes us stand out from others a little more.

Through the years I’ve gotten to know soooo many of you on a personal level. I know your name, your husbands name, the ex’s name that put you in the “I don’t care” mood you’ve been stuck in that related to your weight gain, I know your kids’ name and their effect on your life, hell I even know how many times some of you poop a week! LMAO! The point is, I’m NOT a call center that doesn’t know what you’re going through on a personal level. I’m a human being who takes that extra mile to get to know her customers.  I have your best interest at heart and i always will! Many of you have my number on speed dial, and that’s ok with me! I feel like you should feel comfortable coming to me.

I DON’T CLAIM TO HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS
I am not the type to say—“our supplements are the only ones that work” because I can’t confidently tell you that. Everyone is different. Everyone acts different to different ingredients. Plain and simple. And if a company does tell you that—they are flat out lying to your face and just want your money. That’s the bad part about this business.
I am here to tell you that if you take one of our supplements and it doesn’t work for you in some way (ex. Appetite suppression, energy, detox, fat loss, weight loss, etc etc) please contact me. You won’t be disappointed. Most that contact me after taking a full month with little results will get a something- samples, diet plans, advice, workout programs, etc. I am here to help you and that’s what I do best. If one thing doesn’t work, I will personally work with you until we find another that does work. I did receive my Certified Personal Trainer certificate. But just let me tell you, just because I have a piece of paper doesn’t mean I know it all when it comes to fitness. I know a lot, yes, but I don’t know it all. I guess that what makes this business interesting- always learning something new.
I am currently working on my schooling for my certificate for  Nutritionist and Wellness Coaching. Because I do believe nutrition goes hand in hand with making a lifestyle change. However, I don’t believe that one person needs to deprive themselves of the food that they love. Why spend everyday miserable? It doesn’t keep you on track.
I am a nurse as well, so I can give you thoughts on what I think, however I always encourage those who are on prescription meds talk to their doctors and more importantly their pharmacists when combining medications with herbs.

The one mindset change you need to have successful weight loss 

Food is not a reward, and exercise is not a punishment.
On its face, that seems like a simple idea. It’s also one that has the potential to completely remake your relationship with nutrition, exercise, your body — and, ultimately, your results.
But it’s not as easy in practice. Think about how many times you’ve said, “I’ve been so good this week, I deserve a treat.” or “I’ve completely gorged myself today. I need to get to the gym to work it off.”
This is a self-defeating cycle, in which two things that should both nurture and fuel our bodies — food and exercise — erode our self-esteem and put us down. 

Exercise becomes a way of fixing perceived shortcomings. And food, depending on its calorie content, either becomes a treat or a tool for self-deprivation.

When you think about it like that, no wonder most people hate healthy eating and exercise — and often have a tough time sticking with either.

When people learn to get away from this learned mindset, and treat both food and exercise as ways to fuel and care for their bodies, they are more likely to find mind and body balance. They are more likely to sustain healthy behaviors over the long term.

5 WAYS TO FLIP THE “REWARD VS. PUNISHMENT” SCRIPT

1. FIND NEW REWARDS
When you hear yourself say, ‘I deserve a reward,’ make the reward fit the action, So, if you worked hard all day, it’s likely that, what will truly be rewarding, is a minibreak.

Have some ideas on-hand and ready to go. Spend five minutes brainstorming five things that you find soothing to your body, five things that can give you a minibreak during the day and five things that are fun. Post this list in an easy-to-see location for whenever the need-to-reward urge strikes.

2. REMINISCE ABOUT A FUN WORKOUT
Think back to when you had a really fun time working out, maybe you were participating in a bucket-list run, playing soccer with your friends or going on a relaxing hike in nature. Whatever it is, thinking about that memory may help you look forward to future workouts.

3. HIT “PAUSE”
When you hear yourself trying to rationalize a food choice, stop yourself right there. Take three deep breaths and remind yourself that your behaviors don’t determine what you can and can’t eat. Then, decide if you really want that food and, if so, why. For instance, you might say, “I want chocolate, because it tastes good — not because I do or don’t deserve it.”  

4. TRY A NEW WORKOUT
If your workout doesn’t make you feel good, it’s time to change it. If you usually run on the treadmill, try lifting weights for a change. If you usually go cycling, try swimming. There’s no limit to the options.

5. GET CREATIVE
Oftentimes, junk foods feel indulgent simply because we don’t know how to create healthy meals that are also tasty. Try one new healthy recipe each week that’s full of flavor and makes you feel good — before you know it, you’ll have a healthy-cooking arsenal at your fingertips.
